About Our Show
The WISP Broadway Concert Series has quickly become a staple at the historical Old Stone Church in East Haven, CT. Gathering many fans over the last few years, WISP Performing Arts Initiative is excited to have started a new theatrical tradition with our original concept “The Staged Broadway Concert Series.” Taking song selections from different Broadway shows and performing them together — back-to-back in the same production — provides a unique audience experience.
Our staged concert series has become such a success, we are continuing this summer tradition by presenting an original musical revue — All the World’s a Stage — a timeline celebrating iconic moments in musical theatre history, from Contemporary and Golden Age to Opera’s Greatest Moments.
The opera segment will be comprised of some of the greatest masterpieces from around the world performed by professional opera singers. Covering favorites from La Traviata to Carmen, the audience will be taken on a classical journey through time.
